What's Priceless to You? By Stacy Duplease of Stories by Stacy

What is priceless to you? What means more to you than money?

Our true treasure is never in things, possessions, or money. Never. If it is, then we are missing the whole point and are shallow individuals.

Ouch! Yes, I typically try to be a little more kind than that, but it's true.

If things matter most to you (or possessions or money), then what type of relationship do you have with your family, friends, and God?

Do you have faith?

Let's be realistic, all of us fall for the idol trap where money and debt are unavoidable facets about life. We spend it and earn it, after all. Most everything in life tends to have to be paid for by money. Therefore, money, possessions, and things have some value.

But, there's to be more about this life than that.

There has to be more.

What's priceless to you? I ask again because you won't say that money, possessions, or things are priceless to you. How does the life you lead reflect what matters most to you?

Do you spend as much time with the priceless things in life as you should or think you should? How grateful are you for them (whatever they are.)?

Just something to think about.

Remember with every question I ask, I'm looking in the mirror. I refuse to type a word unless I put it on myself first and above all. For me, it's God, the Bible, prayer, my best friend and husband, Zack my Beagle, my family, my friends, and my writing. They each give me a sense of meaning and purpose. I would NOT be who I am today if not for them. They've shaped my life.

Now, I'm going to evaluate if I am living a life that shows that they are priceless to me.

Deep thoughts.
